Facebook is used to target specific audiences and drive laser-targeted traffic to your offers.
This section will show you how to set up a Facebook business account and create ads.
SET UP YOUR BUSINESS PROFILE PAGE
If you do not have a Business Profile Page on your offer, please set one up.
Go to your personal Facebook account.
Click on the 9 Dots that look like a keypad (Top right hand)
Select Pages (below Most Recent)
Select Create new Page +
Name the Page.
Select your Category
Add your Description.
Next scroll to bottom of page looking at left hand side where you put info, Click CREATE PAGE.
Add cover Photo and Add Profile Picture
Go to Google and find images if you do not have any.
Add Content to your Facebook Page ( Articles, posts, youtube videos)
GO TO YOUR AD MANAGER PAGE
Go to Facebook Ad Manager (business.facebook.com)
Select your FACEBOOK PAGE
Click ALL TOOLS, and
Select AD MANAGER (On the Advertise category)
CREATE A FACEBOOK CAMPAIGN
Click on CREATE under the Campaigns Tab.
A Pop-up Box will appear, name your campaign and select LEADS
Ignore the other options and select the NEXT blue button.
Name your "Ad SET" and Select the WEBSITE option under "Conversion Location"
Now, Select the LEADS option under "Conversion Event"
Next, Click on the SET UP CONVERSIONS button and select the 2nd option- CREATE CUSTOM CONVERSIONS.
Now, under URL Contains dropbox, select URL EQUALS.
Now, add your Affiliate URL you want to send traffic to.
Select the Category Dropdown, and Select the LEADS option. Push the NEXT button.
Name your Custom Conversion and click the NEXT button.
Put the budget on $10 per day, can increase or decrease at any time
Scroll to Audiences, this is the page that makes all the difference.
DEMOGRAPHICS
Add your Location, Age and Gender Specifications.
Under "Detailed Targeting", add your Highly Targeted Keywords
NOTE ON INTERESTS TARGETING:
Always aim for 1-2 million people with interests reach, no more and no less.
Look at the suggestion box to find more interests.
The more interests you add, the lower your reach will be, and the more targeted.
Now select Automatic Placements. (Recommended), ignore Manual Placements.
Now Click NEXT
BUILD YOUR AD CREATIVE
Name the Ad
Select your Facebook Page for your Ad.
Select SINGLE IMAGE option under "Format"
Add your Image, or video. (Selecting the right image can Greatly impact your conversion rates, images must also be high quality)
Write Your Primary Text Ad, and write "Quotes" from Affiliate Resource Page saying what the people are quoting. EG- These 50 Plans made my life easier!!
Now write your Ad Headline. (Remeber Headlines need to Eye Catching and entice users to click on them)
Now write your Ad Description.
Select the highest converting button whcih is LEARN MORE or SIGN UP!
Under "Display link", you can add a link that appears smaller than your affiliate link, so it doesnt look like an affiliate link.
Click the Call Extensions check box and add your number, if you want people to contact you.
Add your desired language now.
Under Tracking, select the check box Website Events and select your Pixel.
Now Select Publish.
MAKE TWEAKS EVERY 2 WEEKS
Well done, you have created your first Facebook advert. You now need to assess your results and make constant changes to see what works better. You should tweak your image, headlines, and text options every 2 weeks, and find the winning combination THAT BRINGS YOU MORE PROFITS.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
After 2 weeks of creating your advert, make changes to your Image Alone and wait 2 weeks. If you see the results are positive, keep the image and try changing the title. You must make one change at a time, do not change multiple items as you will not know what improved your campaign. It must be one item every 2 weeks to determine what is effective or not.
